Founder, The Great Grand Father in the year 1874 AD ( 142 Golden Years ) in the regin of his Excellency Nawab Mir Mahboob Ali Khan the Nizam VI of Hyderabad under British rule has started the business of Arms & Ammunition and same was continued by My Grand Father Janab Mohammed Bashiruddin Sahab.
Later after the independence, the Arms Dealership License was reissued by the Govt of India, Ministry of Home Affairs, and Board of Revenue Andhra Pradesh.
The said businesses were successfully Managed by My Father Gulam Dastagir Rafiq Sharfi Sahab (GDR) in the year 1973 and was been Renamed under the name and style as M/s. RAFIQ ARMOURY under the proprietorship of My Father Late Gulam Dastagir Rafiq Sharfi Saheb (GDR) in the old city of Hyderabad at shop No.22-7-19,20, Alladin Building in the locality of Pathergatti, Charminar Road, Near Madina Building, Hyderabad. Later Janab G.D.Rafiq expired on 19-11-1991.
The Late G.D. Rafiq Sahab was a brilliant Armour and person of outstanding personality of his kind who has invented many new concepts in the field of Armoury and he was an expert in Arms Repairs, and was very much popular in entire India for his workmanship. For him nothing was impossible in this world. God gave him such a brilliant brain that he was able to do any work in any field successfully.
After the demise of My Father G.D.Rafiq Sahab I Alhaj Mohammed Sirajuddin Shafiq has successfully taken over the entire Family and Business responsibility at the age of 21 and have developed the business standard and has achieved the good position in the field of Arms & Ammunition Business. And Now my children Alhaj Gulam Dastafiq Rafiq Sharfi and Alhaj Gulam Mujtaba Shujath has successfully Carried out the same business and continued for 5th Generation
On the occasion of 134 Years Centenary Celebrations on 12 th of July 2008 a sub concern of M/S. Rafiq Armoury, M/S. GUN AFFAIRS, was inaugurated to facilitate the customers in the new city at Banjarahills Road No.3, Hyderabad by the blessings and guardianship of beloved Mother Mrs. G.D.Rafiq with the grace of Almighty Allah.
On the Occasion of 50yrs foundation of Rafiq Armoury and 150 yrs sesquicentennial Celebrations& Inauguration & Shifting of M/S Gun Affairs on Thursday 18th August 2022.
